VICTORIANA GAYE, REBECCA IRELAND & ILONA HARKER Friday, 18 May 2012 The Mullumbimby Bowling Club Quirky art rockers Victoriana Gaye, all the way from the South West Coast of Victoria, have managed to play every weekend and more for the last 3 years running! They have just returned from their third South Australian tour and about to do their forth East Coast. They have released 2 albums and are about to record their third. They are on a roll so to speak! Sometimes whimsical, sometimes romantic and sometimes rockin'. Jeff Raglus and Vicki Gaye Philipp describe their sound as a blend of pop and folk with a tiny bit of grunge. The couple play a mix of acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, harmonica and harmony singing. For this special showcase VG are joined by Rebecca Ireland who celebrates the release of her latest single ‘Take Me Out’ (available now through Vitamin Records & Itunes), and Ilona Harker - recently returned from touring SA, WA & NT, has a new dbl album brewing, and writing her show called ‘Coming Home’.
